The BOILER sees itself as a men’s sauna. In this spirit, trans* men are, of course, equally welcome.
Admission to the BOILER is granted to all persons who are perceived as men by our staff at the entrance while fully clothed. Furthermore, we do not make admission dependent on physical characteristics or official legal gender status. This also applies to genderqueer guests who reject a binary definition for themselves. Our employees are sensitized to this and are aware of the diversity of bodies—whether undergoing, prior to, or without physical transitions. As a result, you may meet people with very different physical features at the BOILER. We ask all guests to treat each other with respect in every situation.
We know that our approach can be somewhat subjective, and we are aware that we are asking our guests to have their appearance and identity assessed by our team. In line with our concept as a “men’s sauna,” we deliberately make this classification in order to focus the experience on a male spectrum.
